COURSE DETAILS

Maximum places available in each course: 6
The IPSC Australia Introductory Safety and Holster Proficiency Course is a compulsory step for both new and existing club members who are not currently participating in but want to shoot the IPSC discipline or other handgun matches requiring holster use.

There is both pre-reading and theory/learning assessment document completion required prior to attendance so that on range instruction time can be maximized. These documents will be made available prior to the course date.

Successful completion of the course will enable attendees to join IPSC and may also obtain a SSAA holster accreditation (*TBC). Holster accreditation is required to join IPSC Australia in order to participate in IPSC matches, and holster and draw a loaded handgun during SSAA Combined Services Match and Wild Bunch matches with SSAASRB.
Please note: IPSC Australia membership is required to compete in IPSC matches level I and above.
- The course is delivered by IPSC trained SSAASRB ROs (for Annex 1 and 2) and Accredited IPSC ROs (for Annex 3 final sign off) and must be successfully completed and passed for eligibility for IPSC Australia membership.
- Membership and Holster accreditation allow participation in monthly club Level I matches and IPSC sanctioned Level II and above matches.
